After working for two years at South Dakota State, Juneau served as the head coach of Marquette University's football program from 1908 to 1911. He finished his coaching career at Marquette with a 15-5-7 record, with his last season (1911) being the most successful (7-0-2). Juneau left Marquette to assume head coaching duties for Wisconsin's football program.
He is the nephew of Joseph Juneau, co-founder of the city of Juneau, Alaska, and grandnephew of Solomon Juneau, one of the founders of Milwaukee.
