 Scored 1,435 points, including 687 as a senior, while averaging 32.7 ppg.  Received AP & UPI second team all-state honors as a senior.

+Started collegiately at Wisconsin but transferred to Marquette in his freshman year. Joined the Warrior varsity team midway through the 1961-62 season and played in eight games, scoring 22 points and grabbing 12 rebounds and filled in admirably as the Tribe's forces at center were depleted because of injuries.
+He was the seventh-leading scorer on the 1962-63 squad with 67 points in 20 games for a 3.3 average. Hit 19 of 23 free throws for an .826 percentage and 22 of 44 field goals for a .545 percentage, best on the team in both departments. Scored a season high of 16 points against Texas Western.
