My gut feeling is Shaka is going to have a shorter leash down the homestretch if certain guys aren't producing.  I'll just leave it at that.

Well, whatever happens it will be a difficult decision. Consistency offensively has been a real issue for every player on our team.  What we don't really know is what would happen if certain players were given the keys and played 20-25 mins.  It's possible they can't defend well enough.  That said we've been a bit of a mess in recent weeks scoring the ball.

Trouble is that basketball is not played the same way every year, let alone every decade.  KO hasn't coached at Marquette in almost thirty years.  Think about how much the game has changed since then.  There are a ton of people who do statistical analysis about what is efficient and what isn't.  The old style of playing isn't efficient, and if it were teams would run their programs that way.  Two point jump shots go in less often than shots under the hoop, and they go in around the same rate as three point shots... which net an additional point.  The game is all about efficiency.
