Played terrible for most of the game. Shoot a three for the win! Good grief.

Right in front of the bench!!!! Great job helping players out!!!

I am shocked at how bad Kam was when we needed him to be our star guy in this one. Wide open 3 missed and then damn near turned it over. Senior laden team can't get a shot off

Stevie was fouled.

Jones with a bad pass. Mitchell gets leveled and no call? Horse crap refs. Give them credit for coming back. Need to change their name to Hole Diggers, because they repeatedly dig themselves a hole in first half to get out of.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind.

pretty terrible pass by Jones too. Even a decent one get ross wide open for a drive or 3 for the win.

MuggsyB

Very upsetting and I'm just dumbfounded on a number of issues.  WTF was the deal with our spacing all game?

What happened in The handshake line?

Mitchell should have taken the three from the left wing.  That final possession - after an incredibly gutsy comeback effort - was calamitous.  You can't rely on an official to make that call at the end.  Xavier didn't get the whistle at its place and we didn't get the late call today.  Valiant attempt to come back, but you should never trail by 19 at home vs. an inferior opponent.

Kam is too good of a player for this to continue.  The question is what can be done to get him back on track?  His shot looks way off to me.

Heavy rotation on the streaming radio feed ---- anyone up for Twinstunts?

I wonder if he's throwing games?

Shaka said "Just emotions" when Homer asked him.

Another thing that concerns me is that we came out completely flat at Home after escaping a loss at DePaul.  I figured we'd come out like gangbusters with an intensity and focus similar to an owl attacking a vole or lemming.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. We come out flat and looking not ready to play at the beginning of a lot of games.

Based on the way Shaka danced around the the question, it sounded like MU players were the instigators

I didn't see any clear h-c offense other than Kam getting a high screen and wanting to play fast in general.  Early in the year the ball was zipping with a lot of drive and kick.  The other thing I notived is guy's looked tight.  I get that our defense creates offense, but we can't be entirely dependent on forcing turns for buckets. Especially because our bench isn't producing at the level we expected.  We simply have to do a better job creating good shots in our h-court offense.  Schematically I think Shaka can do a few things off of the immediate Kam double to get wide open looks.  Through about 27 game mins out offensive numbers were beyond atrocious.  It's on Shaka and our entire squad to run better h-c offense.

They did. They stopped screening for Kam so heavily.
