Well, then that's another grievance--festivus not lasting the whole 10 days off for Marquette
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Ditto for me.

I even considered heading to Providence but the game tipoff time scratched that.

Spaniel with a Short Tail

I'll bet these fans scheduled dinner around game time. So disappointing.

Quote from: tower912 on December 28, 2024, 08:58:13 AMWhat are you hoping got accomplished?

Health.  Kam and Chase getting over their ankles.   I am not optimistic Stevie's Achilles tendinitis cleared up in that time. Tre's shoulder finally near 100%.

Freshmen defense.  3-4 days of good practice help DO, Royce, and Caedin more comfortable on defense.

Freshmen offense.  The same window helps them see how to get to the next  action and how using their teammates helps everybody get good shots.  Just a little better.

Saw their families, laughed, breathed, felt the love of God and of their families.
There were possessions where the bench, and therefore freshmen, defense was almost up to the level of the starters.   And they actually ran the offense.  So, time well spent.

Well, for some
Kam and the Warriors blowing it just like at Dayton. Bet your heads out of your asses.

Quote from: Lennys Tap on December 30, 2024, 12:39:51 PMListing 10 or more low level college games that nobody cares about - every day?

Constant head scratching random references to evangelical Christians?

Rating most of rocket's posts?

Talking aircraft carriers, midrange games, etc. ad infinitum, ad nauseum?

Random stupid things that will effect Marquette's seeding, season, etc.?

This stuff makes you laugh? Really??

I loved David Letterman. He was funny and original. Mocking stuff that is predictable, repetitive and boring can be funny as a one off. Maybe even take a few bites at the apple. But when you become more ubiquitous and more predictable than what you're mocking you're just..boring.

Sad to see. Kid had potential when he signed his Scoop LOI.

Quote from: Elonsmusk on December 30, 2024, 01:55:10 PMOkay, but lets acknowledge I haven't been banned since Shaka has been the coach.  As far as returning after multiple bans during the Wojo era, why would I not participate on a message board that relates to my alma mater and favorite sports team?

History is what it is, and I was on the right side of it.  Some feel it was the Paint Touches manifesto on why Wojo needed to be fired that helped tilt Scholl/Lovell into taking action.

Granted it took many die hard Scoopers and fans 5-6 years to come to the conclusion that Wojo was mediocre at best - but you should know that protest is a catalyst toward effecting change.  Me railing on Wojo and those of you who defended him was my way of trying to effect change.  Because I love Marquette basketball.

Basically, you see yourself as scoop's Dark Knight.

What do you mean he sees himself that way?  He IS the Dark Knight.  He sacrificed his time on Scoop so MUBB could get away from Wojo.  Thank you, Ners.

Just like he's often reminded of himself when he thinks of Derrick Wilson dunking on 6'9" Paul White.  Because there were a ton of 6'9", top 50 recruits that Ners was dunking on in the Northwoods when he was balling out in high school.
