Quote from: Galway Eagle on December 30, 2024, 02:07:43 PMThat's not quite what happened. Instead you guys sucked the joy of MU wins out of the room even during the two or three years when we were fairly successful. Sucked (and continue to suck) the joy out of the room when we had an all time great scorer and great representative of the school is mentioned. And ultimately gloated when the Hausers crapped the end of 2019 and continued to transfer because it would fast forward what you wanted. Furthermore, when people started to come around you still alienated them as "projos" and "slurpers" for just trying to cheer for their "Alma mater and favorite sports team" and you still continue to do so (often times mislabeling fwiw) despite it being 3.5yrs later as if it gives you some type of superior claim to fandom.

Do you deserve a cookie for getting it right early? Sure, *slow clap* but the constant antagonizing and obsession still made the board unreadable at best and down right unwelcoming by the time that everyone was actually calling for Wojo's job.

-This isnt just what you did as there were multiple people who wanted this to turn into a depressive circle jerk of rooting for MU to lose.

It should be illegal for you to find joy in anything that others might happen to not like as much.

What disrespect? 4ever is a good guy, plenty tough.

Juan Anderson's Mixtape

Ironically, keeping Wojo for 7 years worked out great for Marquette. Kept him long enough to recruit Oso, Kam, and Stevie.

Fired Wojo at just the right time to land Shaka. No way of knowing Marquette's fate had Wojo been fired sooner, but the Shaka era has been really good so far and the future looks bright.

It's funny how life works out sometimes.

It's been a recurring complaint on Scoop about Marquette's rebounding under Shaka and lack of true post players.

Kind of like the lack of midrange offense is a constant complaint.

Despite all the evidence pointing to how Shaka's staffs prioritize neither.  Maybe that's what changed these 10 days

I can honestly never been on the golf course (or anywhere for that matter) and discussed the potential of any scooper's takes.
Thankfully.

Final Four

Do you really think we are discussing Rico's potential?

I agree that Rico had real potential when he signed up. I remember us commenting on some of his clever posts when we were golfing down your place several years ago.

Lack of a midrange offense is not a constant complaint. When brought up (occasionally) other posters have pointed out (correctly) that our offense (and a lot of others) is predicated on open 3s and dunks/lay ups. End of discussion - except for posters who regularly bring up dumb posters asking for a midrange game out of thin air. That's the constant complaint.

My bride made a dinner reservation at the same time that MU tips off.   I will watch it delayed.
