What are you hoping got accomplished?

Health.  Kam and Chase getting over their ankles.   I am not optimistic Stevie's Achilles tendinitis cleared up in that time. Tre's shoulder finally near 100%.

Freshmen defense.  3-4 days of good practice help DO, Royce, and Caedin more comfortable on defense.

Freshmen offense.  The same window helps them see how to get to the next  action and how using their teammates helps everybody get good shots.  Just a little better.

Saw their families, laughed, breathed, felt the love of God and of their families.

Studying.  They're student athletes and what they accomplish in the classroom matters more than what they accomplish on the court.
Kam and the Warriors blowing it just like at Dayton. Bet your heads out of your asses.

Health and rest. The team was in a little funk but grinded out victories anyway and both health and rest will help kick off the second half the right way.  I expect the team to be top ten in Ken Pom defense to finish the season and the three point shooting to improve.

Tower, you covered it well. All I will add is that I hope the improvements in Freshmen offense and defense helps prevent blowing leads like the 13 point one in Dayton and the 15 point one in Cincy. I'm not pinning the lead losses entirely on the frosh, but anything to help prevent repeats please.

God is dead, NIL killed him.

But seriously, hoping everyone got to rest and relax a bit. Maybe some of the guys struggling with shooting confidence can get some shots up and get their mojo back. Tre was looking close and maybe the rest and confidence from his recent run can boost him for the rest of the year.

Herman Cain

Focus on getting everyone healthy, will need to be in top form for road game in Providence.

I hope the players enjoyed the break. Spending time with their families. Taking time to relax and heal. Its a long tough season. I hope they are charged up to play their best to win. We will support them no matter what.

Rico, your response is ridiculous. Did you go to MU? Did you go to school? This time period is BETWEEN SEMESTERS - there are no classes to study for. Useless post as are so many of yours.

Disagree.  Students should never stop educating themselves, even during winter break.  Pretty sure this is a big talking point right now

Health is correct.  I'm looking for a rejuvenation which will lead to MU playing elite basketball from here on out.  We have yet to approach a level anywhere near our A game fron my perspective.  We've seen glimpses of greatness, it's time to be far more consistent. When Ben and Jop play their B games or better, and Kam is Kam, I will take our squad vs anyone.  We should be hungry, focused, and ready to dismantle every team in the BEast.  We are without question the best team in our conference.  This isn't the same UCONN team and we simple must introduce them to darkness.  Period.

What about us scoopers? Break was nice. Take a breath, get a bead on where the BE stands...who will be the competition...etc, etc ... But I am getting antsy for a game. Tuesday can't come soon enough.  ;)

We'll see. Since Maui, Uconn has 5-0 with four Q1 wins and one Q2 win. SJU, MU, and UCONN are all between 10 and 17 in Kenpom.

I think we're the best team and we win the conference, but it's not nearly as simple as you're making it.

I never stated it would be easy. My opinion is we're definitely the best in our conf.  We have now had three games where we lost our composure down the stretch.  I'm hoping we learn from them.  But I have watched UCONN, St.J, and the rest of them.  I fully believe we're the strongest team and will always have the best player on the floor.

Almost all Rico's posts are ridiculous.  They don't have to be but he likes to humor himself for some strange reason.
