Got an email from Ticketmaster seemingly offering single game tickets.

Looked up National Marquette day and booked 4 tickets against Uconn section 108 for 1550.00....

Didn't pull the trigger but wondering if this is legit.

Went on Ticketmaster but they tie into your MU account?...confused because normally single game tickets are supposedly available to season ticket holders first.

Single game tickets are being bought by STH this week Tuesday - Friday. I am assuming this weekend or early next week what is left goes to the general public.

Warriors4ever

That sounds like resale to me. Single game tickets are not yet available on gomarquette, only season and mini-plans.

It is resale for sure

Warriors4ever

Actually the price was my first clue...

Can STH buy single-game tickets yet? I thought I saw on gomarquette that they wouldn't be until next week, a day or two before the general public has access.

The window for purchasing is open this week, with general time slots yesterday, today, tomorrow depending on priority point level.  Problem is, they said last week that they'd send an email early this week with STH specific timeslots.  I've seen no such email.

This same thing has happened the entire off season.  Every time they said "We will email you by x date" they have been lately literally EVERY time.  Very frustrating.  I have no idea when my window opens tomorrow... just that the general window for my priority point level is tomorrow.

Anyway... rant over.  To answer original question, STHs can buy single game this week.

Same here. I called ticket office yesterday.....gave him my account #(STH for 30 years) guy said we dont have that account....i said try again...oh yeah here it is!

The ticket office has been a mess. They farmed out much of it to Learfield and they have had a revolving door. Our group chose to upgrade seats this year, and it could not have been a more inconvenient process. And two of us never had the switch made, so our chosen seats were marked as available when season tix went on sale to the public. It got resolved, but still the worst it has been in my 18 years of having season tickets.

Also if you want to buy parking for the season, that will be a minimum $5000 donation.

Similar mess with the mini-plans. It seems they were tweaking the plans almost right up until the time they went on sale and were uncertain about when they would be ready even in the week they went on sale. Seemed very chaotic and disorganized. I'd call to make sure I was going to be available when they went on sale and no one seemed to have a definitive answer.

Communication has been bad.  You have to figure out for yourself when your appointment is based on how many points you have, or had at the end of June.    Then, log in at that time and hope for the best.

And, while they're at it, the Athletic Dept should do an audit of the Priority Point system.  Way too many ppl buying tickets using the points of their parents or grandparents!  It needs to stop.

It's almost impossible to even see what a Mini Plan costs until you have it in your cart.   The best games were excluded from the Mini Plans, one marquee game was replaced by a Buy game, and from what I can tell, the pricing has increased greatly on them.  I don't believe they are selling many, but maybe that is by design.

Sir Lawrence

I received an email last week that I could purchase single game tickets at 10:00 am today.  I logged in on the gomarquette site at 10:15 and saw no single tickets for sale.  At 10:30 am I received another email offering to sell single tickets.  I logged back in and was able to secure four tickets to the UW game in section 223.  I saw one lonely seat available in the lower bowl.  I recall that one could see how his or her points were calculated.  Now I guess you have to call in and ask.

Their what?
Don't you understand? it's obvious! The being owned by them was reselling by-season ticket accounts.

It's after 10:00 am, when I was supposed to be able to buy single game and there's no option in the Ticketmaster account for anything other than additional season tickets or the Mini-Plans. Anyone else in the 500-1500 range able to make single game purchases?

Nope, on hold with the ticket office now.

brewcity77

Guessing they're swamped, the ticket office took a message from me and disconnected.

STH here, I just picked for single tickets - UConn and Bucky games are sold out. Purdue is 95% sold. I was not able to get any single tickets that I wanted.

Did you pick over the phone or did it open up on your ticketmaster account?
