I stand corrected...I didn't remember that plunge in attemdece.  I guess that further justified why they moved on from Deane.  We only finished two spots ahead of DePaul that year...they averaged over 9700 per game that year.  Things have certainly changed since that time.

I went to a couple games in Deane's last year, and the whole place was like a morgue. At least the fans were into the game in Dukiet's last year - I mean they were mostly booing, but still...

I believe Baylor's new arena actually smaller to achieve that higher % FWIW. I think that is dumb.

First time in my STH era (est. 1997) that I went backwards.  I have always had the ability to upgrade but I like my section / set-up so I have stayed with the proletariat.  Now the proletariat is jumping over me.  This is a great problem to have.  Shaka to the Moon.

I thought you could keep your seats if you wanted to, didn't even have to use Marquette Select. That's what we did.

Correct, this wasn't a full reseating year. No one had to move, but could move if they chose to.

Not really. They reduced the capacity from the Ferrell Center's 10k to create a better atmosphere for all games (midweek games didn't sell out often). Fans are closer to the court too. They can also charge more, making more revenue despite fewer seats. Supply and demand.

Baylor, TCU and SMU can all use the money.  ;)

they need to pay for that equestrian program somehow. It's not cheap to feed and travel all of the horses.  ;D

Well, Marquette has Club Equestrian now.  It's just a matter of time...
Have some patience, FFS.

Do the horses have to also maintain a certain grade point to be eligible?

No, but when they die, scoop members are required to beat them, then Muggsy will serve them as an appetizer.

How much needs to be invested to insure a stable program?  That is the mane thing.

Will they be bringing back Kerry Trotter?
Finally bring in Enes Kanter?
Hire dressage therapists?
Compete with Gesu in the steeplechase?
I want a foal breakdown from somebody who has the information down colt.

Hay! Stop trying to stirrup trouble. This is a bit much. Look at the bight side. When Covid becomes a problem again, there will be a nice stock of Ivermectin on campus to help everyone who contracts it so that Covid will be reined in.

Wild horses couldn't drag me into either political party, but for very different reasons.

When Covid becomes a problem again? It's a pretty big problem right now. We're just learning to live with it instead of hiding in our basements.

Actually it's because people are hardly dying from it right now.

When we had horses, Ivermectin was our go-to dewormer. Never, ever thought someone would suggest that it would cure Covid.  ::)

Crapaloosa.

Yeah. Think of all the horses that had to live with worms in their guts because of the shortage of Ivermectin inventory.

I'm surprised Muggsy hasn't chimed in.
