Harris proposing to expand medicare to cover hearing aids and more home care. But nada about dental. Even Harris is afraid to take on the powerful dentists' lobby.

Going in for a cleaning tomorrow.  Is there a tip line I can call if I see something crimey going on?

Standard tip is 25% cash money given directly to the hygienist before you leave, hey?

Would that be 25% off the full rate or the insurance rate?

Gotta tip the hygienist since they're underpaid and do most of the job anyway, hey?

No excuses! She should fight them tooth and nail.

I assume he trying to make a weak joke , but maybe not. This post really raises ethical issues to me. I know in some countries tips  to healthcare professionals are strictly prohibited and should be here. Really raises ethical issues. Plenty of ways of showing your appreciation other than handing over cash.

Yes.  Healthcare is so affordable in this country, we should now tip those who are doing such cheap work for us.

If dental hygienists aren't making enough to live on, maybe the dentists can just, you know, pay them fair wages?

For those who don't know, these stats always increase over time as more data comes in. It happened under the Trump administration as well. Even with the updates, the violent crime rate is near to the lowest rate in the past 50 years.
