4.  It can be argued that Shaka waited too long to call timeouts in both halves.  His team needed a moment to rest and regroup.
5.  BC77 corrected me, pointing out that what I thought would be the starting lineup next season hadn't played together.   They have now.   
6.  Assuming TKo heals, this game is going to serve MU so well come tourney time.
7.  Long stretches without stoppages and short benches equals tired legs.
8.  3 straight 3s down the stretch equals daggers.   Alas.

We definitely had a chance late to get the W, championship mentality ticked up another notch for the guys today. Needed everything the last four minutes, just didn't have it. CU ended hot, we didn't. Good game

Unfortunate final score. Game was much closer. MU really showed heart. Interestingly, MU missed Kolek and Oso as much on defense as offense. Good experience for the bench. Hit from 3 at a reasonable rate and maybe they pull this out. But the computers won't care.

It was a tremendous effort, but an extremely disappointing final 5 mins.  Now, it may serve us well down the road Tower but for now it still hurts.  The opportunity was there imo.

Thought we hit the wall a little earlier than the last 5 min I think. Creighton missed some wide open 3s from about the 8 to 5 min mark which kept us in a few min longer.

Today was a great effort that may well yield significant late-season improvement. That was the most complete Joplin has looked offensively in a Marquette uniform. Kam can carry the load without the big three deflecting attention. Zaide can be a legit defensive force.
