But to say one would certainly accept losses in order for TK to return for the tourney is getting ahead of themselves. No one knows if two weeks of rest ensures a god damn thing.

Can't speak for others, but all Goose and I have said is that if sitting out the next 2+ weeks helps Kolek heal properly so he come back healthy enough to play in the NCAAT, that's all we'd want.

Neither of us said sitting out would for sure let him play in the NCAAT because, as you said, nobody knows yet.

Sitting out 2 weeks may have no absolutely no bearing on an injury which we have very little insight until an hour ago.......which still is very little.

Just making an observation that scoopers willing to mentally sacrifice the final 4 (maybe more) games SO that TK will be 100% healthy for what we really want is umm meaningless and self serving at best.

Actually I think what people are saying is that TK not playing the next couple of weeks is fine IF it helps him recover for the tournament.

Of course if he plays Saturday, no one is going to be upset about it.

Just about everything Scoopers say is meaningless, WRFF, including what I'm saying here and what you just said.

We have no control over who wins or loses games, who Shaka should or shouldn't play, how long injuries take to heal, etc.

Everything on here is either reaction to something that happened or speculation about something that might happen. Welcome to sports fan boards!

We are FF

Huh?
I will be happy to go 0-4 (meaningless) to have TK back when it really matters.......which we have no idea if that is the case.

MU82

I will be happy to win the rest of our games, culminating in a national title.

Saying that is much more meaningful.

Didn't know the injury will be complete and finished only once the tournament starts.
Thats the apparent timeline for those who know nothing about it. Seems silly....and meaningless.

Yes

DoctorV

Honestly if he's good to go on April 6th that's all that really matters.

I'm certain he will be.

5 weeks to judge.

Jay Bee

Doctors have told him best idea is to rest. So Tyler agreed and will sit on the bench.

He won't play again until the second weekend of the tournament.  Definitely out the rest of the Big East season and tournament

Quiet! Our opponents might read this and then know what our strategy is without Kolek on the court.
