Unfortunately a very poor effort in half one. Fortunately, we have another half. Haven't gone from super pumped to super disappointed in a long time. UConn might be better, but we are not in it mentally or with our effort at all

Shaka not having his best game.  He's had Kolek off the ball a ton.  Should have called a couple more timeouts to try to stem these runs - team was clearly rattled - and also looked gassed a couple of times - which I'd say was more adrenaline based versus actual fatigue.

We have gotten some good looks from 3 but not falling.

Totally outclassed. UConn got much better, we did not.

...they lost all-BE players...and got better!! This shows what MU needs when it comes to HS recruiting and portal transfers. UConn is the benchmark.

They were down 17 at half last year. They're down 16 this year.

Both teams ugly from three, MU missed like five in a row and UConn scored after each.  UConn is just slicing and dicing with back doors and scoring on stupid MU turnovers. Very effective and impressive.

Joplin and Gold no good, maybe get it a little closer in second for moral victory.

Getting so little contribution from this year's incoming class continues to grind this group down. It's also a concern looking ahead to next season.

This is the most frustrating part, we look rattled for some reason.  Play with confidence and make wide open shots.

I'm not counting them out.  They have 40 minutes to turn the tables in Milwaukee.  Today is not going to be a win.  The rematch could produce a different outcome.
