Sounds like they found a debris field near the Titanic wreckage.

Never too soon.

If I die after signing a contract saying I may die, especially attempting something like visiting a sunken ship 3,800 meters in a device without any safety inspection, feel free to mock me

Getting into a container I cannot get out of until someone undoes the bolts is a hard pass. That said I share the sentiments of all that any life loss is tragic

The risk isn't the issue - It's more so the trivializing loss of life because the passengers are well to do.

Nailed it.

Nailed it.

Or trivializing hundreds of deaths because they are poor?

I don't know that it's people trivializing the deaths due to their wealth. I think it has more to do that there were obvious red flags that showed this was likely to happen.

Correct.  Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

No one mentioned the kids who starved to death this week in Yemen, nor any of the other countless tragedies that occur daily.

But heaven forbid someone make a joke about five dead people who ignored warnings and met their death instantly and painlessly.

Yeah, I mean when the world's attention is focused on five rich guys who died in a sub standard submersible to visit the remains of a passenger ship that sunk 100+ years ago, versus the hundreds of migrants who sank to the bottom of the Mediterranean a few days ago trying to make a better life for themselves, I don't really want to hear lectures on trivializing people's deaths.

Yea. But those rich folks did things the right/legal way

I agree - I just wish the poors died first so these rich schmucks wouldn't make the same mistake.

Lol...nope.  Try again.

Sorry - instead of saying what about the poor people who died in a similar nautical mishap recently, I should've said please consider. Good point.
