Yeah they have the 27th easiest remaining schedule. But they would have to go 8-2...maybe 7-3 with some breaks...to get in the playoffs but I'm not sure I see that happening. Like you, I don't see anything that suggests that there is a spark of something there and its just been a bad break or two. They just don't look good.

Yeah, and it's also not like they have looked great against any of the lesser teams they've played so far. Are the Steelers and Broncos really that good of teams?

If anything, as the pressure ramps up, I picture Rodgers doubling down on the outdated offense and force feeding Adams due to his preferences.

And one of the reasons their remaining schedule is so soft is that the Dolphins have been so bad without Tua. If he comes back and can just play competently, those two games (Dec. 8 and Jan. 5) suddenly are much tougher.

Was at F1 US Grand Prix in Austin this weekend. Saw #8's former fiance walking around theb Pitt Area interviewing  for Sky Sports. She certainly has aged better than her former Beau. Rodgers made a bad play call on punting in that situation.

  rodgers is a smart guy.  he knows the pack is not going to win with a guy referred to as "gutey".  as a boss man myself for over 35 years,  i had some employees who were with our company longer than myself.  they, no doubt had something to offer and many times i listened. 
   rodgers had no control (or he didn't seem to) over who "gutey" and those previous to him chose, picked, traded, drafted to help the team win.  i believe that to be a huge mistake.  we had 2 hall of fame QB's and 2 SB wins to show for it?  most of the blame lies in the front office

   conclusion-shoulda listened to brett and aaron a long time ago, but the packers organization is showing itself to be just as flawed, if not more so than all of the single owner teams out there.  instead of one super ego getting in the way, they have numerous. or too many chefs in the kitchen.  i would have added mark murphy to the firing squad, but aaron knew his limitations.  he's lucky the "peasants" of the town of green bay haven't stormed his office with pitch forks and torches. 

so much for that romantic relationship of green bay and it's football team's organization.  i don't think it's all it's cracked up to be.  how the hell murphy has lasted as long as he has smells of old road kill.  now that would be a story that would get some "clicks"

Haha.  I got to this post on page 1 and was laughing too hard to continue.  I did get to see his post that if the media ignored Aaron Rodgers (that'd be smart), there would be no drama at all in the Jets' building.

Yeah, I don't think Gutey is the best GM in the world, but he built a team that current sits at 6-2. The Jets let Rodgers hire his OC, build the offense the way he wanted it, and got a couple of his receivers in the door - and they're 2-6 and fading fast.

And it's becoming increasingly clear that MLF's offense, and the people on the offensive staff, are tailor made for today's NFL. And Rodgers was too stubborn to see it.
