Good point.  I guess I was a little off.  She apparently made about 45m in endorsements.  That's incredible when you consider that was like 20-25 yrs ago.
I think that actually proves the point that her primary feature was her looks, no?

Undoubtedly. Lennys isn't wrong that this happened a lot more in the past than it does now.

And body image problems aren't necessarily rooted in how others, including the media, talk about you.

I think kornikova isn’t the best example here.

Besides being a tennis player, she also had a modeling career. By definition, that is all about your looks.

The bigger problem is that so many woman are objectified in the media even when not trying to garner attention for their physical appearance.

If only the big, bad media would stop force-feeding the public with attractive people they totally don't want to look at.

Scottie Scheffler is golfing this weekend instead of being locked up.  Disgusting

If you’re a golfer and want some nightmare fuel, watch Sebastian Soderberg channel his inner Greg Norman on the 18th hole at the Scandinavian Open

Just finished an interesting book - Rainmaker by Hughes Norton. He was the first IMG agent for both Norman & Woods and was also fired by both of them. When discussing Norman and LIV he did note that if the Majors were only 54 holes, like LIV, Norman would have 7 Major Championships instead of only 2.

Not necessarily. Had he known any of those tournaments was 54 holes, he'd simply have started choking earlier.

Came from way off the pace.  Won on the third hole of the playoff.   Good crowd for LPGA.   Meijer throws a really good party.  Cheap concessions.   Play areas for the kids.
