I was pretty sure they would be, but...uh...they don't look very good. The committee is going to use this as a reason to select Alabama.

Its not wise to give the committee doubt when Alabama is sitting around on the outskirts.

South Carolina blew late leads to both LSU and Alabama. They'd be in the playoffs had they closed out one of them.

Lanning is a fantastic coach.

But that was INSANE coaching. I have no idea what he was thinking.

Offense moving the ball at will all game. The get it to like the 25 with 40 seconds left and 3 time outs. Penn State calls time out to catch their breath.

Oregon runs it, perfectly fine since they have 3 time outs and they can run it great. But.....they get 3 yards. Don't call a time out. Let it run for 20 seconds then rush throw a fade into end zone.

14 seconds with 3rd and 9. PSU another time out. Oregon TO to counter. Call a screen. Wind up with a field goal. There is nothing on earth that could make that strategy make sense.
