Quick Turnaround/Refocus Time

We should all be thrilled with tonight.  It was great to see and well deserved.  I agree wholeheartedly it was a culture building W.  Celebrate for a few hours but what do we know about this Ole Miss squad?  Solidify this win and have a great tourney in Charleston.  I'm just trying to calm down a bit and think rationally.

The best part about being a fan is we don't have to refocus worth crap. We just get to watch highlights and interviews and drink.

Ole Miss could have Giannis on it for all I care.

Well, since obviously me saying I was pi$$ed at being disrespected by tonight's point spread got us a win over Illinois, I now will say I refuse to celebrate this win too long so I can be laser-focused on Ole Miss.

I expect a tough game ... but if we blitz Eli Manning aggressively enough, he'll get happy feet and we can pick him off a few times.

Who knows. But we gotta enjoy this one. Had no bizness winning that game, but I am so GD impressed with their fight and mental toughness. Prior teams would have folded down 11.

Disagree re no business winning. We missed a TON of free throws and played elite D.

That's to take nothing away from our guys. They got outscored by 12 from deep, gave up 18 offensive boards, and missed a game's worth of free throws. That's really freaking hard to overcome and they did it!

I don't know what this team is gonna do the rest of the way. But it's fun rooting for a Marquette team that's tough as hell and a pain in the ass to play against. I missed that.

So far they've played two cupcakes and did what they were expected to do. So far they've shot really well and haven't turned it over, but they also haven't played anyone remotely like us. If you want to get to know them better, I'd point you here:

In early games, Crowley is stepping up for them past what anyone expected.  But also, they've been bad at rebounding.
