Did he look like he is capable of running the point, or more of a true SG?

I think he was playing the point in the game or two I saw. He brought the ball up a lot and, I think he was the primary guy running the offense. Announcers talked a lot about his shooting, but he made some nice passes and got himself into the paint a few times too. He's not the most athletic guy on the floor, but he seems like a smart player and does a lot of things well.

I'm not sure that we'll have a schollie available for Custer's younger brother.

Everybody knows Custer's brother died at the battle of Little Bighorn. What my book presupposes is... maybe he didn't?

Does this happen often?  A one-bid league starter who made the tournament transferring to a P6 program the next year?

As one example of what a tourney appearance can do to a team in a one-bid league: http://collegebasketball.nbcsports.com/2017/05/02/after-ncaa-tournament-appearance-mount-st-marys-loses-fifth-player-to-transfer/

Perhaps UWM the year before Jordan was hired? Arians transferred to Wake Forest IIRC.

. IIRC, Akeem Springs also left UWM for Minnesota.

List of guys who have announced they will grad transfer, but haven't picked a school. List will grow in the next month no doubt.

There are about 25 more that this site has missed. Maybe they are only keeping track of ones that might interest high majors.

Don't worry, PT will have its free agent tracker again this year. Just be patient, season isn't over yet. At this point, there are only 5 out there I would think could even have a role at Marquette and none that I think could be a starter for us. Not worth listing them yet.

Question, I can't recall when a grad transfer actually commits to playing for another school.  Is it after the B-ball season is over or school session over?

Makai Mason committed to play for Baylor next season at the beginning of this season. Others may wait until the day before classes start. Most are between those two. The most active time is April and May. June is still active and you get a few stragglers in July

There is so much movement in spring, it is like re-recruiting again but in a months time.  Last year, how many kids moved, 800 or so.  I do not see any problem with
getting a good 2 guard as well, just has to be able to play D and rebound.  MU will be much stronger up front next year.  Hauser, Hauser and Morrow will see lots of
action next year.

Can we snag one from D2 without them needing to sit out?

No. Dropping down doesn't require sitting out but moving up a division does.
