This seems like a good time / place to put this.

Here's the thing.  Many have fallen for the folly of the internet.  "I'm an important person on a website!"  No your not.  The internet is disposable.  MUScoop will be lucky to be around another 8 years.  Forums aren't very popular.  This isn't some highfalutin power trip of mine, mods have put way more volunteer time here than we'll ever get out of it.

When posted 4 years ago, we were all probably gonna die from covid, Wojo was still disappointing, ad revenue wasn't great.  I'm happy to report that MUScoop currently has 5 years of reserves in the bank even if we didn't make another dollar (we will).  So I can happily say, we'll probably be here as long as you'll have us.
