That could be just about any two scoopers.

They had to have been charging Pa Farley for 4 pairs of pants, or one hot air balloon of fabric for those mammoth trousers.

To think, here we are 30 years later and he's lost almost all of that weight.

An OB-GYN accused of fertility fraud was killed in a plane crash in Orleans County, N.Y., on May 28, the Democrat and Chronicle reported May 30.

Morris Wortman, MD, was a passenger in a homemade aircraft that reportedly came apart midflight and crashed. The pilot, 70-year-old Earl Luce, also died in the crash.

The plan was a hand-built experimental aircraft. According to the preliminary investigation by Orleans County Sheriff Christopher Bourke, "the wings of the aircraft became detached from the fuselage and fell to the ground in an orchard" just before 5:45 p.m.

Orleans County police, the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the crash.

Dr. Wortman recently was accused of inseminating fertility treatment-seeking patients with his own sperm in the 1980s.

The Atlantic had a large article like 2 years ago on his case.  A lot of people taking DNA tests on Ancestry and 21&Me were coming up with mystery siblings.

There was also a Netflix documentary "Our Father" about a doctor who did the same thing, Donald Cline.

Wasn't this in episodes of Rick & Morty?  He appears as "Elon Tusk" with boar tusks.

I think he was just an Elon from another version of Earth rather than an alien. He voiced himself in the episode IIRC

Not sure where to post this but I was watching the Bill Walton 30 for 30 last night and they were talking about the 1974 final 4 where UCLA lost to NC State in double OT even though they had a pretty big lead in regulation and overtime. My question is, at the time, did we want to play UCLA or NC State? Obviously we lost and Al had the two techs and I know that history but I'm wondering if we would've matched up better with UCLA? Plus, it would've been cool to beat them in the finals to snap their consecutive championship run

Also, parts 1 and 2 of the 30 for 30 were fantastic (Bill Walton voice)

I really enjoyed the two episodes on Walton. He was a "fantastic" basketball player and even more quirky in real life than I thought he would be. No doubt his sons think he is lovable nut. As for who did we want to play in '74, can only speak for me but I wanted UCLA. They were the better team and it would have been great to have MU vs. UCLA on championship Monday.

You're right that UCLA was probably the better club, but NC State was basically playing home games in the Final Four. I would have preferred to play UCLA also but doubt we would have beaten them. 1971, though - I honestly think we would have beaten the Bruins had we not been upset by Ohio State.

With part 2 ending with the introduction of Maurice Lucas, I'm hoping for a couple MU shoutouts in the next episode
