No update on my end, sorry guys and Chick.  I was hoping the push for this guy would mean a quicker decision.  Will keep you posted if/when I hear anything new.

And we backed off Azavier Robinson before he had committed to Butler.  Doesnt really seem like a good fit now either with Nigel and Stevens both in this freshman class.

Had two people message me that Shaka is recruiting Azavier Robinson. One of those people is a Butler fan. Haven't really been on the socials tonight and have no idea where they are getting that from but I did a quick search on Twitter and didn't see anything.

After doing some more digging it looks like a Butler fan posted it to the Marquette Channel on the Burner Discord.

I'm assuming that is where the info is coming from, but can't totally be sure.

Nope, he hasn't committed to anyone.
The "push" was for a reclass to flip him from the school he's long been linked to.

Was hoping that urgency meant a quick decision, but it's recruiting news for Marquette so of course it's taking forever for anything to materialize for us haha.

Thanks for all of the updates, onepost. From the way this sounds, I'm not feeling optimistic.  Feels like a bit of a Hail Mary.

I was thinking the same the longer it's gone on, but I followed up with my guy over the weekend and he still believes things are progressing well for us with no real snags.  So I think we're in good shape still, just that it's not as immediate as I/we were maybe hoping for.

If it pans out, it would certainly alleviate some frustration with how we've addressed a certain position that we've only taken fliers on the last couple of seasons.
