I wish "decades, centuries" was something to decipher, it was honestly just how long it's felt since we've done anything.  Hilarious that Pop Isaacs committed to Houston hours later though.

A couple people reached out yesterday about a push for a certain prospect and that same info was corroborated with a couple Scoopers on here as well. No trolling whatsoever, just hope that it comes to fruition.

Wait not I'm confused, so it wasn't about Blankson? 🤣
Did he really commit to Cal Baptist?

BE_GoldenEagle

Not as active on here as some other platforms, but Kofi Asare is a name I keep hearing quite a bit.

It's not about Blankson, no.  Definitely not a Hamilton-Clark-Blankson type flier.

The 6'9" British kid?  or the 6'5" UMass football player?

The 6'9" British kid. Possible interest from the MU side. Don't know much about him though. Just heard his name brought up more than once in some Marquette related conversations I've had.

British kid. Couldnt find much data on him but he did average a double double 2 years ago in the FIBA B Division U16 league.

I have no context for how impressive/unimpressive that is

Played for Veritas in the Nike EYB this winter.  Averaged 7.5 points and 6.3 rebounds.  Shot 57% from both the field and the line in 11 league games.

Thanks for posting because I hadn't seen that.

So onepost wasn't talking about Odartey Jr or Alex Egbuonu. We Scoopers really are conditioned to look for cryptic clues!

JakeBarnes

Now I'm just kinda excited. Sounds onepost is hearing good things about a touted recruit.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

As we start the Masters today, I just want to remember one of my favorite Scoop debates. Wondering if Wojo would be able to make it into Augusta airport to recruit Ahmed Hill due to all the private planes there.

LOL. Yes. The Augusta airport would be too full of private jets preventing Wojo from flying in to re-recruit him to Marquette. Classic.

Quote from: Tugg Speedman on April 06, 2014, 09:40:23 PMAlso Hill is in Augusta, this is Masters week, the airport was overflowing with private planes since Friday.  Maybe he can't get there?
Quote from: Wojo'sMojo on April 06, 2014, 10:05:57 PMI just checked because I was curious, but you can get into Augusta any day this week via a commercial flight. Don't know about this past weekend, but I would imagine it would have been the same if not easier to fly in this weekend. It's pointless to debate this...just wanted to give my opinion he could be doing more on what should be our top priority.

It could always be an "out of the blue" situation, but given publicly available info he's likely referring to JJ Andrews. We'll find out in a few days.
