Hard pass

Right.  Iowa St was the first to offer and they have a HORRIBLE track record of evaluating Wisconsin talent.  //sarcasm off.

Reako, da Buffoon, loves to stir the pot. Thinks he's humorous, hey?

Well this is Babyface Ray. Not to be confused with Babyface.

Who or what is our counter to Babyface Ray!?!

Looks like Shaka trying to make inroads with Wisconsin talent, it will be interesting, Jack can play.

The Slinger team was at the scrimmage...heard the recruit was pissed he couldn't get a hot dog.

His six year old sister was yelling "f*€k iggy and the university of Marquette. I'm pissed. This is bad."

Nice piece as usual from Ben. What a treat we get to watch the offensive scheme for MU.

This is no different than he's done before. A long time left before he goes anywhere.

Have not seen anything about a cut down list, but 247 is still saying an Oct 30th decision. Case of bad info, or someone that didn't make the 4 came in with an improved offer to get back in contention? Or maybe he just wanted more time. Either way, I'm expecting all the conspiracy theories based on the very limited tea leaves available to read.

I'll stick with my opinion on Gold.  He'll be in foul trouble within the first eight minutes.

He comes to MU, he goes elsewhere.  Pretty binary.   If he views himself as a 1-2 and done and wants serious NIL $ upfront, then good luck and God's blessings upon him.

Not surprised. His film shows incredible talent so the secret is out and I'm sure more offers will follow.

Hopefully Shaka's early efforts count for something and we can get this kid.

Recruiting is never about one guy...unless that one guy is Joe Wolf or LeDarryl or Iman Shumpert.

Recruiting is never about one guy Shaka's recruiting is never about one guy.  He assembles a team and if one guy doesn't say yes, we have 11 other guys bought in.  I have never felt more protected against Green Weenies as we are right now.

He may not always get his guy, but he always gets his team.

Rather only use 14 scholarships next year since there might be a redshirt candidate in Sean Jones, that still gives MU the ability to sign 3 kids the following year and maybe 4 if somebody leaves.

I'm also ok with only using 14 scholarships.  Especially, if Sean doesn't play this year.  Then Shaka can still sign 3 in 2026.

And while Ward would've been a great pickup, MU has a lot of good, longterm forward options.  Owens, Parham, Miletic, and Phillips in the last two classes.

JJ Andrews is probably the top priority in 2026, and I'm sure other prospects will emerge, too.

DoctorV

Can we lock this one up at 1500 pages for the year then, or will Shaka surprise with an unknown?

Always be recruitin
