One of the most enjoyable things about this punny run is that Muggsy has not shown up once during it. Apparently, it is beneath the dignity of omniscient people.

Yeah, only the cool kids like you and Sultan showed up. Get over yourself.

Not sure why he's so Madagascar. It's harmless fun, you'd think he could Chile out.

Maybe you were considered a cool kid in school, but I wasn't. Lenny accidently complimented me.  ;D

Yukon do better than that Lenny.

Hey, this is pretty good Lenny. Much better than your first attempt.

I can easily handle it. After all, I'm a cool kid now. So it took me well over a half century to be one. So what?

When it comes to wacko scoopers, I make no pretense of being "nice". Maybe if I visit Nice with my wife on our next trip to Europe, I'll be nicer.

Hey, you're picking up the tab on the beer, right? Let's meet up in NYC for the BET.

It would be an honor to buy the first round.

Well, Real Chili has not shown up to get this thread back on track. The number of puns was impressive. Itallied up nicely.

OK, for those who have insisted that Shaka really should have gotten at least one player from the portal, has your opinion changed after seeing Shaka's haul? Other than probably hoping he went there if Kam had left (leaving a huge hole in the team!), I've been all in on Shaka's "Stay out of it!" attitude to the portal. Your thoughts?

I trust Shaka.   It was mentioned by this class of recruits that Shaka's focus on developing his guys and aversion to using the portal mattered to them.  I am right where I have been.   If the offseason comes where there are an abundance of young guys leave unexpectedly, I can see Shaka going to the portal.  Until that day comes, I think he stays out.
    I am enjoying the contrarianism.

Where's the nerdy pun?

Hopefully we drop a bag for Cam.  This class would be awesome with him.

It'll be interesting to see how he develops.  People think he might only play college hoops for 2 or 3 years.  Watching his highlight film and watching Oso's senior year of high school highlight film, the two look pretty similar.  Oso actually hit far more jumpers, particularly from 3, and is 3-4 inches taller.  Ward is 6'6" and scores about 95% of his baskets at the rim (often above the rim), with the other 5% from about 10 feet.  He seems to be much better on the boards than Oso, but he can handle the ball and runs the floor like Oso.  As we know, Oso was one of the best defensive players in college basketball.  We'll see if Ward can be that.
