On Shaka's radio show tonight Al said that he showed up at 195lbs last May and is up to 213lbs now.  Good progress, when he checked in on Saturday it looked like he had put on some more muscle too.

When I have that kind of change, I get criticized.....

He should be good then.  I was watching the Bucks vs the Suns the other night and saw Bol Bol.  I had to google it.  7'3" and 220 - and I think that's an exaggeration.

You're calling Bol-sh!t?

I am more excited about this incoming class by the day. DO looks like a beast. I was all-in on Parham too, but DO has been playing on a violence level that is impressive as heck.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

From the clips I have seen of Owens, he reminds me of Andre Jackson Jr with his ability to facilitate. Not quite the elite, elite athlete he is but better shooting mechanics

He looks like a player that can help right away next year, they will have a lot of talent on the wings next year!

BrewCity83

He looks like a guy that won't be here for four years.  He'll be in the League.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Hope you're wrong. Would love to see him experience the greatest years of his life at Marquette. No one has ever regretted it.

Reminder that Coach Hatt tweeted out a gif of Wade the day that Owens committed.

Last time a coach did that it was a gif of Diener the day Kolek committed

I like it.  He does look ultra athletic in the video clips.

Has anyone ever regretted being a 1st round pick?

Juan Anderson's Mixtape

Owens looks like a great prospect.  Get some minutes off the bench next year, and contend for a starting spot as a sophomore.

For 2025, I think Shaka's top priorities are Lewis and Stevens.  Those seem to be the guards he visits the most.  If Shaka goes for three guards, Kelvin Odih is probably the priority, if I had to guess.

If he doesn't land Lewis, James would also be an excellent PG.  Some others have been offered, but so far it looks like Lewis and James are the main two PG targets.

At the wing F position, Miletic might be the priority.  We'll see if anyone else visits and is a serious target.  Haven't seen MU linked lately to any of the earlier forwards that were offered.  And as far as I know, Xzavion Mitchell has not been offered.  Iowa State and Wisconsin are currently his top suitors.

Don't forget about Jamarius Batemon from Milwaukee Academy of Science in the 2025 guard group.

Royce Parham had 30 points and 15 rebounds in the same game in which the video of Owens came from.

I think he starts as a freshmen.

Who were the last 5 freshmen to start at Marquette?
