Who will his coach be there?
Gard finished 1st in Big 10 last year. This buys him more time.

None do.

Ooh, I wonder if Shaka was able to arrange for him to meet Giannis while he was here.  I remember seeing Royce sporting a Greek Freak shirt in one of his earlier photos...

I find it so corny that Penn State and Wisconsin took him to a football game for his official visit. It's hard for me to believe that would have much of a positive effect on a basketball recruit.

Marquette Fan in WI

I think it would on me at 18 esp if it was in the SEC and it was warm and there were a lot of co-eds.

Some guys aren't all basketball.  Football games are fun.  A UW football game is ten times more fun than one of their hoops games.  Makes sense to me.

It worked on Brad Davison, a guy who played football in high school.

I agree 100% with this. Even to an old guy like me the jump around is pretty impressive.

It was very impressive to see how quickly the student section went from jumping around to the exit signs at the Wisconsin vs. Michigan game in 2021.  Literally only stayed to jump around, which is hysterically sad.

At this point, I think Shaka is in the driver's seat and can recruit and get anyone he wants. The future has never been brighter since Al.

Obviously Shaka is not going to land every recruit he wants. But I get what y'all are saying.

Marquette makes Damrius Owen's Top 3

Reading that article, it looks like Syracuse is the frontrunner.  Especially if Owens commits relatively soon.

He'd be a good addition, but I lean towards Abraham, Parham, and Dortch, personally.
