It is a double edged sword: clear path to PT in Madison given how bad their roster is.

Team is bottom conference quality after Hepburn.

Gard will be gone after next year.

McIntosh showed he's not afraid to be decisive and bold with his football decisions.  May just happen.

I've seen someone mention this before- perhaps Kon isn't on the top of Shakas wish list.

Seems crazy to say for a top 50 kid that's in your backyard that can score the way he can, but he may not be as good of a fit as some of the others that Shaka is recruiting in that class.

He's chasing down some substantially more athletic 6'7/6'8 types.
I'm sure he would take 2-3 of em if he feels like he can find room, but it's a great thing that he can start to be picky and match up the style he's looking for along with the personality of person and basketball player he would be getting.

Times are changin in the 414 and I'm here for it.

Maybe Kon and Isaiah Abraham switch states.  Kon to UVA, Abraham to MU.

BCHoopster

The style of MU is so good, I think Shaka can get the kids he wants.  Kids like playing O and this team is great at that. Kon is more like Ernie Grunfeld, he would fit.

There will not be a shortage of talent wanting to play at MU. Watching recruiting is going to be a lot of fun.

It'll be curious what type of player Shaka will target if success follows its current trajectory.  Part of what makes this team special isn't recruiting rankings.
Kam and the Warriors blowing it just like at Dayton. Bet your heads out of your asses.

Petrocelli, Shaka wiil be able ta get fookin' Moses Malone orr fookin' Michael Jordan if he wants. No more green weenies, aina?

My gut says Shaka continues recruiting the type of kid/player that fits his culture, just they are going to be higher rated good guys. Will add, I do not see Shaka losing many recruiting battles moving forward.

Maybe Shaka don't think he fits or he isn't into MU that much.
Goal is National Championship

Remember we just had a coach who would recruit top in state talent (Ellenson, Hausers) but had no system.  looking like a coach with a system (plan) is the way to go.

JTJ3

Agree about Shaka recruiting to his system and having the ability to close on his top targets, especially with our success this year.  Parham, Abraham and Dortch all look like great fits.  But Shaka definitely thinks Kon fits too considering how many of Kons games he has attended this year.  Never can have too many guys who can dribble, pass and shoot.
