It pains me often.   Ugh.  We had a really really good guard that wanted to be here....if only he had "applied" none of this would have happened <snicker> <snicker>

Newbill breaking ankles of Big Ten opponents instead of Big East opponents.   The entire application didn't get filed thing....good grief that is still one for the ages.

I got ya.  I thought you were implying that this season wouldn't be unfolding in the way it is.

Nah, he's not a PG.  :)  I'd love to have him on this year's team and think he could add a lot to it, but I'm bias toward guards.  I love Jamil's potential, but for whatever reason extremely inconsistent this year.  Hopefully on the stretch run he gets it going.

Did you abandon your car down there, by the way?  I was on a conference call with a company I do business with in Atlanta yesterday.  One told me it took her 7 hours to drive home from the airport in what normally takes about 50 minutes.  That is crazy.

The South isn't used to any snow so they don't have any equipment to plow or salt roads even for a dusting.

Agree.  I would even extend that to parts of the midwest.  As a student at IU, when they would get a few inches the streets were a mess because they just didn't have the plows, removal services.  I was quite surprised.  Lawrence, KS had nothing as they got more freezing rain than anything else.
