We R Final Four

We used Sea Reaper out of FMB.   It was great. 65" tarpon and a couple of permit.  Also two sharks including a hammerhead.
Sweet—thank you.

My FIL rented a home on the canals in Cape Coral... but his boat won't be completed for a few more weeks (he ordered it this summer).  Needless to say, he is sad.

But he is catching a couple of Blue Crabs in his pot, so not all is lost.

Hauled in a few nice fish this weekend from one of our trips up to Namakagon again.

Slab crappies, slot walleyes, a 32 inch northern, 18 inch smallie, and a 27 inch musky.

Pike this weekend in Door Co. Got a few smaller walleye as well.  Overall, a successful trip.

Lots of good memories of that area.
Would get condo at Lakewoods Lodge with group for fall bow hunting.
Also do the spring walleye fishing.
That was 20+ years ago.
Don't even know if Lakewoods still exists.
Relatively quick jaunt to get up there from the Twin Cities.
Much longer affair getting there from SE Wisconsin.

Trolling?
The walleye were all from trolling at night.  The pike was mid afternoon, using a smithwick, perch color.

Did you measure it?  Looks like it is pushing 40.

We had it at 36-37. Fortunately, I stayed away from its teeth, but being a somewhat inexperienced piker, I cut the snot out of my hand in its gill.

Lakewoods still exists, but the Namakagon Chief burned down a decade ago, and the owner passed away and last year the son, who the property passed to also passed away.

Used it off the dock. Has a limit to range die to Bluetooth range.

Seemed to work ok.  Cast and let it sit for a bit to get acclimated.  Read depths just fine and seemed to mark fish.

Has a mapping feature that I will miss with this afternoon.
