is 2-15 the new 5-12? (from Andy Katz)

and always good when the big 1? underachieves.

What a difference from Day 1.  Much better excitement and upsets.  And its not over yet, heck maybe LIU will beat MSU or Detroit over Kansas.  

Norfolk St over Mizzou
Ohio over Michigan
Lehigh over Duke  

Two #2 seeds are beaten by #15's.  Wow........

Which is more of an upset, I say Lehigh by far, well maybe.   Coach K looked shell shocked.  What is Dickie V. going to do?

Can you imagine this board if we had a #2 seed and played in the Madison pod in the tourney and lost to Lehigh!?

How many posts would there be about how an elite program would never let that happen in their own backyard?

That was the most amazing 3 hours of tournament basketball I can remember.   Ohio U, Lehigh and Norfolk!    I need a cigarette and I don't smoke.    I'll have to settle for another beer.

Jay Bilas ought to be ashamed of himself for making the argument that low and mid-major conference champs shouldn't get automatic bids.  Norfolk State, Lehigh, and Ohio or three uninspired teams with losing records from major conferences?

Since they went to 16 seeds in 1985, only 6 #15 seeds have won the first round.  Two of them have been in the last four hours.

#2 Kansas is up against #15 Detroit shortly
