I think the big questions throughout the year about the AP poll are:
+ are we ranked or not when we should be or not?
+ Are we within +/- 5/6 spots of where we should be.

I havent had an issue with either most of the year.

Where we finish in the BE, do we win the BET, and where do we get seeded in the tourney get my blood running more.

After being a skeptic, I've grown to appreciate much of what kenpom does. But this kind of thing exposes the flaws that it and other computer ratings have.

Gonzaga looks like barely a top-50 team. Reminds me of kenpom overvaluing Madison for weird reasons a few years back.

Margin of victory is very important, but it can create some very odd outliers to be sure.

What's good is the tournament committee takes early game results as seriously as later games and MUs great nonconf successes will get equal weight. So I'm thinking one more win in the BET, and a 6 is in reach.

It's in reach, but top 25 rankings mean less than other metrics.  It would honestly be extremely upsetting if we don't get a least a 6.  Much better chances for us as a 6 vs a 7 or 8.

I know Brew says Champ-week usually no matta, but you'd have to think beating X is an absolute must (if not the semi-final) for any chance at a 6.
