Looking further, I noticed Seth Davis only had one Big East team ranked last week and it was Marquette at 25.

And that's fine but based on rudimentary metrics, as an AP voter, it is idiotic beyond words to have MU #25. 

There is no question that there's a top tier and we're not there.  But you can slot us among a handful of teams in tier 2.  As you have stated Tower, if Kam finds his early season form, we have the potential to inflict tremendous damage.  I think he will get his mojo back.

We look ninth best when the other coach doesn't have a zone defense to show us. Probably closer to 25th when we have to face a zone.
