He didn't really love or play Butler much as a rookie either, for what that's worth. like 9 mpg with about a third of the games DNP-CD. Thibs just don't like rookies.

I wonder if WellStreetWanderer’s buddy also confirmed that Tyler can’t read.

Tyler can read, but he has to follow the words with his finger.

It's a problem when he's driving because he can't reach the signs.

How can you send them if they aren't out yet?

His attitude was too bad. Don’t need the negative publicity so the NBA will not be selling his jerseys.

What in the world does him having a championship ring have anything to do with his ability to be credible. You have officially vindicated the Houston Astros!!

Also, whatever is being passed around sure as heck wasnt strong enough to stop the Knicks from giving him a big time contract for a 2nd rounder

He’s credible enough to comment. He regularly travels to pg workouts and is part of the team that drafted an NBA championship team. He is in the room on draft day so he is a lot more than a casual fan and his opinion is respected. For him to say TK will see playing time is a compliment from someone who does this for a living

Been to a number of MU practices...TK has an edge...never saw him not listen to Shaka and staff.  Feels uninformed...

Again, him having a ring is completely irrelevant to any of that.

This is a no nonsense NBA guy who was carrying around a large box with a championship ring last summer.

So, he's with the Nuggets? Or is it an even older championship than that? Because the Celtics aren't getting their rings until next month, so it can't be them. Why was the guy carrying around "a large box with a championship ring" many months after getting it? Or is it years?

Regarding Shaka's interview.  He said that TKo was the guy who would get in his teammates' faces, challenge them, and hold them accountable.  A discussion that TKo was old school that way.   I can't help but think that this thread and that part of the interview are related.
TKo continues on like he did at MU.  Perhaps it is perceived or received differently.

So just to get this straight this scout said the perception/opinion of Tyler is that he had a bad attitude, but that he will get playing time?  Usually that doesn't fly at the NBA level unless you are superstar caliber.  That aside no harm to you sharing what you'd heard - just seems kind of odd and opposite of what we know to be true - that Tyler was very coachable and hard working and respected by his teammates.

Tyler Kolek is the only guy on an NBA roster who talks any trash.

Since we're playing he said/she said...My BIL owns a very popular pizza spot in Manhattan (3 locations now) that does amazing PR/marketing and as a result has athletes come in all the time.  My BIL is also a die hard Knicks fan.  Mitchell Robinson and OG were in and they were chatting and he asked them about TK (cause he knows how much I love him/am excited for him to be a Knick) and the two direct things he mentioned to me was they said "he's a wild boy" (which is a compliment for all you non-Gen Z'ers) and that he backs down from nobody.  They were looking forward to playing with him.
