Jim Nantz’s last Final Four will be this year’s tournament. Ian Eagle will take over going forward.

Goodbye friends.

I like Ian Eagle better despite the first name.  Bet he cuts back on golf as well.  He’ll never quit Augusta until he has to
Ramsey head thoroughly up his ass.

Eagle is as good as it gets in both football and, especially, basketball.

Eagle is the best announcer in the country and has always been better than Nantz imo.  Nantz is good for golf.

I wish Brian Anderson would have gotten either this the #1 NBA on TNT role.  He deserves one of them.

Ian needs to change his first name to "Golden".

I love Eagle, I'm glad he's getting the chance. Anderson is excellent as well and should be TNT's #1.
He's been excellent during the MLB playoffs too. Two guys who call the game without doing shtick.

It would be cool to have Jim Spanarkel join Eagle calling the Final Four.

Agreed. He came on my radar in MU’s Elite Eight run where he announced the Davidson and Butler game. He was fantastic.
