Temple, Memphis, and Houston are all good ball schools and SMU and CF have some potential in BBALL.

I think its a good hire.

In UCONN, VILLE, MEM we have 3 of the top 15 teams in college BBALL.  Also if we don't get the big east stable we also would lose ND to somewhere else.

The BBALL schools could drop the above 4 and add who?  not one team they could add would be better then the above for anything.  If you say X is better then ND?  I would rather have ND.  that helps you get a better $$$ not X when you already have Cincy.

The conference won't stabilize until the TV contract is settled.  If it helps increase the TV money which it should then add them both.  With Navy coming and the WAC dissolving I have to think this is a no-brainer decision for Air Force.  I have to think BYU would be a national draw for both football & basketball.  As someone previously indicated, that would be an interesting consideration for all sports addition if that's even feasible to begin with.

On the basketball side, I see Memphis & Temple as an even swap for Pittsburgh & West Virginia.  Syracuse may just be unreplaceable from the basketball point of view.

Air Force hasn't been a member of the WAC for 13 years.

Hmmmmm.

Looks like the new commish has his work cut out for him.

This die was cast months before he showed up.  Wonder why he took the job.
