Canadian Dimes

playing louisville , with Kuric, well at loserville.  Wayns is absolutely dynamite.  keeping him in check is critical, he is really really hard to stay in front of that kid.  reminds me of kemba

PGsHeroes32

They are good when Wayns is on the floor. Foul trouble is key. Wayns doesnt shoot that great, but hes money from the line and has been getting there a lot.
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

Wayns is a very tough player.  Who covers him on Saturday?

Vander and Mayo.

Vander and Mayo.

Watch how Vander guards him.  If Vander's defensive play is consistent with what he's shown throughout the season, this game will demonstrate the great value he adds to this team.

Once/if he gets his contributions on offense (scoring) dialed in, he will be a complete player.

In a way, Vander is somewhat of a mirror image of Gardner...skilled on only one half of the floor.  Gardner is a machine on offense, but lacking on D.  Vander is a solid contributor on defense, but lacking when it comes to scoring.  Both are Sophmores, and are developing the skills they need to be "complete" D1 level players.
Hope this post doesn't result in turning this thread into a 300 hundred post thread on Vander.

I was saying this the other day -- Blue/Mayo is becoming the guard equivalent of Otule/Gardner. Granted, Mayo is still a good defender, but you can definitely tell that they have different but complimentary talents. Blue is a slightly better defender and better provider, Mayo is a better scoring option. I'm just glad we have both of them.

LAZER

I've never seen a coach do more offensive/defensive subs than Buzz does with Gardner, he'll do it at any chance he gets.
