Just watched ESPN's My Wish segment where the boy from Hawaii meets Dwyane Wade... very cool story, shows a side of D Wade that makes it impossible to hate him

pure genius stuff by Bill Simmons, remember to read day 2

I love that side of D-Wade, I didn't know he even had a side that was opposite to that side! Last time I checked, he's pretty much the coolest, most down to earth superstar on the planet!

i was really shocked when wade beat the kid in HORSE, then i realized that these kids don't want to have pity on them.  The kid did beat wade at 1-on-1 which was fun to see.  I think the best was the kids comments of why he liked dwyane so much... he said because he is a nice guy that passes the ball and isn't a hog on the floor.

Awesome segment.   Great character.   A true role model.

I just saw it on ESPN.com.  That kid was a pretty good shot.  (Please resist smart a$$ comments about current members of MU's team).  He hit some shots from farther than I thought he would be able to throw the ball.

BTW, just how much Gatorade do you think D Wade has around the house?  I see he had a table full of it after their game of one on one.
