Also, Wisconsin beat Purdue.  Big win for the Badgers.

Not just up - but the server stats are making it look like we could handle another 1000 users or so.  Pages are comping up fast, and processing time per page is still low.  w00t.  My life gets easier again :)

Here's another:  this team is going to be really, really tough to beat next year.

Losing Lazar is going to be tough and he's showing himself to be one of the best players in the country.  That being said... our lineup looks as potent as I can ever remember it next year.

Cadougan
Blue
DJO
Butler
O'Toule

But even more so, consider that bench!

Yous (with a full offseason of improvement and weight-lifting)
Jamil Jones
Buycks
Reggie Smith
Fulce
E-Will (Hopefully much improved)

That's a solid, solid 11-man rotation.  We could go big with Yous and O'Toule on the floor at the same time, but still play the same small-ball, fast-paced lineups that we've been forced into playing this year.  There are 3-point shooters, slashers, and distributors.  There's experience in Butler (and to some extent DJO and Buycks), but also a lot of youth and athleticism.

And that's not even considering the open scholarship that we've still got left.  Besides, if either E-Will or Yous make the sophomore year jump that Lazar or Butler have made, this team could be scary good.  We just took four games against top-10 teams to the brink of 4-0.  Imagine how this team is going to look by conference play next year...

Here's another positive:

57 second half points.

Maybe he's a WVU fan and was thrilled to see Purdue vanquished.

Providence and DePaul are our next opponents.  If these guys keep their heads together these games should be walks in the park and much needed relief from the grind.  Think about our last nine regular season conference games.  I cannot remember any team going through such a tough schedule.

Is gametime chat history?

We're looking at other chat options.  The current (previous?) one looked and worked nice,  but has a few problems.

So, I'd expect chat to come back in some form, but not for a few more games at least.

But we LOST.

Does Strength of Schedule (SOS) play into the selection committee's decision?  I always thought it did, which means the stronger our opponents are at selection time, the better off we are - right?

IF that's true, you can thank Wiscy for holding up their end - blech, have to spit now - then blast Michigan for blowing games!
