No AI this time.  Early this morning I perma-banned a few well-known Scoopers.  Some might claim it was because I disagreed with their politics.  That is 100% untrue. 

However, I did have ideological differences with them - I don't believe it's okay to interfere in other Scoopers *actual* lives just because you had an internet difference with them.  This started several years ago, and keefe took most of the blame.  Unfortunately it has continued, at at a minimum they knew the others were spreading around undisclosed personal information about other Scoopers.  Worse, some were actually spreading that information and/or using it. 

I probably should have taken more drastic action years ago.  I'm angry and embarrassed that this has continued. 

Edit:  I had some suspicions Lennys Tap may have been involved too, but have been in contact with him and believe I was mistaken.  Sorry Lenny.

I'm sure that wasn't the ideal ending Rocky, you have a thankless job that the hundreds of millions in ad revenue doesn't come close to covering.

Too bad it had to come to this - I wouldn't want to be a member of a place that knowingly condoned those types of actions. 

Somethings don't need to be so serious - this is one of them.

Appreciate your work in letting fans have a place to discuss MUBB.  Having looked through other teams' message boards and Dodds's site, this is definitely the best format I've seen out there.  Sucks grown men continue putting you in the situation where you have to step in.

I don't get this. If anyone wants to know who I am, all they have to do is PM me. I have "met" quite a few scoopers that way - though never in person.

Hopefully 4ever is one of the ban-ees. He went so far as finding out the name of the owner of the company I worked for at the time and then mentioning it here.
